Daniel's Hand Kiss to Suma Ignites Controversy

English actor Daniel Caltagirone, who is known for his roles in 'The Beach', 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life', and the Oscar-winning film 'The Pianist', will be seen in a prominent role in Vikram's 'Thangalaan'. He was there at the pre-release event of the film on Sunday.

Before delivering his speech, Daniel kissed on the hand of anchor Suma in a playful manner. Suma, ever the smart one to turn any situation into a light one, bro-zoned him immediately. She playfully sang, 'Annayya sannidhi'.

While appearing normal, Suma was seemingly taken back by Daniel's overreach. While his tender kiss didn't feel like it was intended to be sensual, he was wrong in not understanding the public etiquette in Indian society. Kissing on the hand is normal in Western societies, but in India, it is not so.
