Vaarahi Entertainment has officially launched its new film, Aathma Katha. The film, written and directed by Srinivas Gundreddy, marks the debut of actor Gemini Suresh in a lead role, who is paired opposite Akhila Nair.
Speaking at the event, Gemini Suresh shared that acting has been his dream for 18 years and that he always wanted to debut with a "meaningful story." He expressed his gratitude to director Srinivas Gundreddy for giving him the opportunity with Aathma Katha. He also thanked the notable guests and media fraternity, stating, "Since I come from the media fraternity, I strongly believe that the media will support me in this new journey. I humbly seek the audience’s blessings."
Director Srinivas Gundreddy, who has previously directed one Hindi, four Kannada, and one Telugu film, described the film's story as its true hero. He praised Gemini Suresh and veteran actor Sammeta Gandhi, calling them "two strong pillars of this project." He also highlighted the decision to bring in young talent Artham Vaarahi Shreyas as the music director, noting his exceptional skill.
Actress Akhila Nair wished the team the best and thanked the director, producer, and her co-star Gemini Suresh for the opportunity. Senior actor Sammeta Gandhi, who plays a pivotal role, praised the film's story, stating that it has been a long time since such a plot was attempted.
The film's technical crew includes M.V. Gopi as cinematographer and Raghavendra Reddy as editor. Someshwar Rao is producing it. Balagam Vijaya Lakshmi, Chintu, Dhanraj, Thagubothu Ramesh, Mahesh Vitta, Nookaraju, Gurrapu Vijay Kumar, D. Sudarshan Reddy, and Baba Shanker will be seen in key roles.
