Naga Chaitanya's 23rd film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vas. The film's pre-production has witnessed the entry of its heroine.
It was today confirmed by presenter Allu Aravind that Sai Pallavi would be the female lead. Following the announcement, the 'Gargi' actress expressed her delight. "So happy to be part of this loving team. Thank you for the warm welcome. Chay garu, I am glad that we are doing another special film together (sic)," the 'Fidaa' actress wrote on Twitter, adding that she has been missing the Telugu audience for years and that she is happy to be back on the Telugu screen after a gap.
The 'Custody' actor acknowledged his 'Love Story' co-star's tweet and wrote that he was really looking forward to the untitled film and that they would be creating something special.
The hero, the director and the producer were in Srikakulam's K Matcheleasam village in August to interact with the fishermen's community. Speculation is that NC23 will feature fishermen's travails after some individuals are nabbed by Pakistan and arrested for trespassing into their waters.
