Acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron is reportedly planning to direct a movie titled 'Last Train From Hiroshima'. This will happen after his current 'Avatar'-related commitments.

The film will be based on two non-fiction books: 'Ghosts of Hiroshima' and 'Last Train From Hiroshima'. The mega production will be an "uncompromising theatrical film.”

Deadline was the first publication to break the news. The report added, "It will mark Cameron’s first non-Avatar film since 1997’s Oscar-winning 'Titanic'."

What are Cameron's next movies?

1. 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' will hit the cinemas in 2025.
2. 'Avatar 4' will arrive in 2029.
3. 'Avatar 5' will arrive in 2031.

So, Cameron's nuclear war movie could head to theatres only in 2035 or so.

"On top of all these commitments, James Cameron previously announced he was also writing a script for 'Terminator 7', although that movie has not yet been officially greenlit," reported Screen Rant.
