'MAD' is the title of an upcoming college campus comedy from Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The youthful entertainer is headlined by newcomer Narne Nithin, budding comedy actor Sangeeth Shoban, and Ram Nithin. Days after its peppy teaser was out, the makers today unveiled its first song.

Titled 'Proud'se Single', the song is set in the backdrop of a boys' hostel. Sung by Nakash Aziz and Bheems Ceciroleo (also the music director), it is written by Raghuram and choreographed by Raghu.

We see Vishnu Oi's character being brainwashed by Sangeeth Shoban and others to stay single. Contemporary lingo such as 'stag' has been deployed to ensure that the song's zeitgeist quality is intact. The whole ambience is reminiscent of the backdrop seen in 'Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare', the recent Kannada blockbuster.

The film stars Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar and Gopikaa Udyan as female leads. The Kalyan Shankar directorial is set on the campus of an Engineering college. 'DJ Tillu' fame Muralidhar Goud, Editor Navin Nooli and others are associated with the movie.
