Actor Ali has been an Advisor, Electronic Media wing, Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is also the India brand ambassador for Arvensys, an Australia-based company floated and run by persons of Indian origin, namely, Vishnu Reddy and Shashi Kolikonda.
The news is that Arvensys has pledged to carry out charity activities in a big way in the Telugu States and other parts of the country under the able guidance of Ali.
Last year, when Ali was in Australia, he was witness to how some individuals with Indian roots were carrying out philanthropy in an organized way. He went up to Vishnu Reddy and Shashi Kolikonda and asked them why they can't do something similar on a large scale in India. The very next day, the duo reached out to Ali with 60 other individuals, asking him how they can be of help. That's how it all began.
This week, the businessmen from Australia will participate in the Global Investors' Summit in Vizag. Ali said that he will be grateful if the needy people in Andhra Pradesh benefit from their charity works. Meritorious students who don't have access to higher education will be provided with financial support. Charity will also be done in other areas like healthcare and technological knowledge.
