Geetha Arts has been bright these days, with the back-to-back success of its movies '18 Pages' and 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha' made by its arm, GA2 Pictures. The banner is now gearing up to re-release 'Magadheera', the historic blockbuster headlined by Ram Charan.

Allu Aravind's production house today said that the epic fantasy romantic actioner will hit the cinemas for Mega Power Star's birthday, that is, on March 27. The re-release will be big.

The last time Geetha Arts went for a remake, it minted money. 'Jalsa' was re-released on September 2 last year marking Pawan Kalyan's birthday. The re-release was not a small one, as the Trivikram directorial was released in many centres in the domestic territories as well as Overseas.

When 'Magadheera' was released in 2009, it went on to amass a whopping Rs 60 Cr (share), which was an unheard-of figure in Telugu cinema's history at that time. Its success cemented Rajamouli's resolve to make a spectacle movie like 'Baahubali'. Even Eega's scale got multiplied because of the confidence that 'Magadheera' gave.
