Netflix's multi-lingual original 'Rana Naidu' stars Venkatesh as Naga Naidu and Rana Daggubati in the titular character. Scheduled to start streaming on March 10, its trailer is out.

The makers described the trailer as high-octane and the characters played by the Venky-Rana duo as multi-dimensional. On the other hand, the subject of the action thriller with masala elements has been described as edgy and tension-inducing.

Rana Naidu is a scandalous fixer who deals with Bollywood stars and their many issues. Naga Naidu, his warring father, walks out of the jail. Replete with expletives here and there, the show seems to be unabashed and unapologetic. The uncontrollable father is described as an unhinged snake by his son.

For good measure, there is romance and wit as well. The humour is raw and irreverent, it is hoped.

Speaking at the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Venkatesh said that his character has got a playful demeanour. In contrast, his real-life nephew's character possesses an intense personality. Naga Naidu came to be described as witty, charismatic and more.

Rana said that playing the troubled character of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. He also praised the hard work put in by the entire team.

Bollywood actors Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais have got different roles. Produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global, the series is created by Karan Anshuman.
