'Acharya', 'Liger' almost killed ambitious distributor's career!

Last year, the Nizam distributor Warangal Sreenu was in the news when 'Acharya' flopped badly in April. A few months later, in August, 'Liger' too became a disaster. Soon after the release of Vijay Deverakonda's movie, the distributor claimed that he had lost 65% of his 'Liger' investment. The figure in absolute terms translated to more than Rs 35 Cr.

The disastrous effects of the two films have rumouredly ended the thriving career of the previously cash-rich distributor. He has decided not to go further with distribution for some years. He might take up a small film in the future, but biggies are a no.

It's said that Warangal Sreenu fancied his chances of ending Dil Raju's dominance in Nizam. 'Acharya' and 'Liger' apparently ruined his dreams.
