Big Ben Cinemas announces new project

Big Ben Cinemas, which has previously made 'Pelli Choopulu', 'Dear Comrade' and 'Dorasaani', today announced its sixth project. Producer Yash Rangineni has roped in Chaitanya Rao and Lavanya as the lead pair. Chandu Muddu of 'O Pitta Katha' fame is its director. The launch event was held today at Ramanaidu Studios.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Yash said that his film 'Pelli Choopulu' was released in theatres on July 29. "I am happy that our new movie has been launched on such a date. Our current film is set against the backdrop of a village. The subject is fresh and the film is going to go on the floors on August 1. It will be shot in Amalapuram and Araku for a month. In September, it will be shot in Kerala. The first copy will be ready by October," he added.

Chaitanya Rao said, "I loved the subject and it is close to my heart. I am confident that this film will turn out to be my career's first blockbuster."

Lavanya said, "The film has got all commercial elements. I am confident that the director is making a sensible movie."

Director Chandu said that the film is going to be novel and experimental in terms of locations.

With music composed by Prince Henry, the film has cinematography by Pankaj Thottada.
