Mahesh Babu's endorsements: Are they give and take business?

Mahesh Babu, this year alone, has praised movies as different as 'Bheemla Nayak' and 'Vikram'. During the pandemic, he endorsed even small films such as 'Oh My Kadavule' (Tamil).

But a section of his fans is believed to be unhappy that his 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' didn't receive a similar endorsement from other big stars. Power Star Pawan Kalyan doesn't care much. He doesn't tweet about his own movies. But how about others? Why don't they even thank the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor when the latter is kind enough to appreciate them?

The short answer is: We wouldn't know. A lot of celebs prefer to send a 'Thank You' note personally. They are not always social media-savvy.

And just because Mahesh endorses a film, it doesn't mean that the hero/director whose film receives his praises must pay back in the future in a similar fashion. That would end the genuineness associated with star endorsements. The audience will start seeing it as a give-and-take arrangement.
