Indian Panorama: Sravanthi Ravikishore says 'Kida' received applause

The Tamil-language movie 'Kida', directed by RA Venkat and produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore, has been screened at the International Film festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The film was screened in the Indian Panorama section. The critics and film aficionados present on the occasion felt that 'Kida' weaves an intricate love story that is high on exuberance.

Producer Ravikishore recalled how the project happened. He added that the success of the film, which is his debut Tamil outing, shows that cinema has no boundaries.

Director RA Venkat spoke of the Madurai backdrop of the film. He expressed his delight over youngsters loving the film as much as the older ones. "Our film tells the story of a grandfather, his grandson and a goat," he added.

Presented by Krishna Chaitanya, the film had M Jayaprakash, Chukkapalli Venu, Theeson, Anand Geraldin, and others working on it. Pu Ramu, Kali Venkat and others played important roles.
