'Saakini Daakini' has Shalini Shotgun (Nivetha Thomas) and Damini Demon (Regina Cassandra) getting trained at a police academy. There, the two roomies pick up petty fights. The theme lyrical released on Vinayaka Chavithi is about the same.
Director Sudheer Varma treats the chemistry and banter between the duo in an entertaining way. Rendered by Ramya Kirtana, the offbeat song is composed by Mikey McCleary, who is joined by lyricist Rakendu Mouli. The protagonists being described as a shotgun and a demon says it all.
With BGM composed by Naresh Kumaran, the film's cinematography is handled by Richard Prasad. Produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures Film, the film will head to theatres on September 16.
