With the Bathukamma festivities taking off, Telugu film celebs are wishing the people of Telangana. On Wednesday, Megastar Chiranjeevi wrote a Telugu-language tweet, in which he made a reference to the auspicious nature of the festivities.
On his part, Vijay Deverakonda shared the special Bathukamma song composed by AR Rahman and wrote, "My family is celebrating it at home, I send my best to women across the state bonding over and celebrating this beautiful festival of flowers, song and dance." The actor also had special appreciation for Kavitha Kalvakuntla. "She has been passionately promoting this cultural celebration, making us and the country aware of this beautiful local festival," the 'Liger' actor added.
The release date of Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' is expected to be finalized in a few weeks. As for 'Liger', it will be released in theatres in 2022.
