The other day, Mohan Babu said that he did receive an invite to the Ram Mandir consecration event in Ayodhya on January 22. "Even though they have promised me adequate security, I am scared and that's why I have decided not to attend the event," the senior actor said.
Many Netizens are trolling Mohan Babu for the remarks. "The likes of Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have attended the ceremony. Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor were there. The Prime Minister himself didn't feel the security wouldn't be enough for the public event. Who is Mohan Babu?" a Netizen asked.
Others in defence of Mohan Babu are arguing that he only meant to say that the attendance would be so overwhelming that he didn't want to put himself to trouble.
Mohan Babu recently held a special pooja at the Film Nagar Daiva Sannidhanam in Hyderabad. He has been a devout Hindu and a religious person for decades.
