'Race Gurram' actor wants curbs on vulgarity in movies

Ravi Kishan, who shot to fame in Telugu with Allu Arjun-starrer 'Race Gurram', has written to the Centre seeking curbs on vulgarity in Bhojpuri movies. The Uttar Pradesh-based actor-politician hails from Bhojpuri cinema.

Earlier in the week, Ravi Kishan wrote a letter to the Information & Broadcasting Ministry as well as UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, saying that vulgarity in Bhojpuri movies should be ended.

The 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' actor represents Gorakhpur in UP in the Lok Sabha. 'MLA', 'Saakshyam', '90ML', among others, are his other Telugu movies. Anil Ravipudi-directed 'Supreme' is one of his most popular outings. The actor predominantly also acted in Bollywood. And he has dabbled in Kannada and Tamil as well.
