Recently, elections to the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce were held. The office-bearers, including the Chairman, were elected unanimously. Dr. Patrani Ramakrishna Goud became the Chairman. A Gururaju became the Vice-Chairman, so also Nehru. The oath-taking of the new members took place today in the presence of Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and new MAA President Manchu Vishnu.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, "I congratulate the new members. Thanks to TFCC, a number of people have benefitted immensely. The government will always be supportive. Our helping hand will always be there with you."
Manchu Vishnu said, "Ramakrishna Goud and Gururaju stood by me when I ran for the MAA President. They called up a lot of people and requested them to vote for me. I thank them on this occasion. I have come to this event in my personal capacity. If you are in a responsible position, you have to talk responsibly. If you are expressing a personal opinion, you have to make it clear in the form of a disclaimer. The Telugu film industry doesn't differentiate between Andhra and Telangana artists. We are all one."
Patrani Ramakrishna Goud said, "TFCC has reached out to Telugu technicians and artists per se, not just Telangana ones. KCR garu has been supportive from the beginning. I have distributed as many as 125 movies in Nizam territory. TFCC has got 10,000 members in its rolls." He also detailed the initiatives that have been taken over the years for the welfare of its members.
The event was also attended by other key members.
