Balakrishna's comments against TFI people for meeting Telangana CM KCR with even informing him, have created a controversy and Naga Babu has demanded an apology from him.
Answering a question on why he wasn't invited for the meeting, Balayya said, "I don't know". Was it because of the war of words between him and Naga Babu? "I don't have issues with anyone. I'm not talking anything. Only he (Nagababu) is talking. Why should I respond? (smiles mockingly)".
Balakrishna also questioned Tollywood biggies on why they haven't been able to collect funds for Movie Artists Association (MAA) building despite all the fund raiser programs they had organized. "I don't want to involve in everything. I don't want to talk about all the issues. Why should I care when we don't even have a building for MAA. I wasn't invited but Chiranjeevi garu and others attended fundraiser events in USA. What happened to that project? This industry is paying the highest taxes to the government. The government too is hellbent on giving permissions to film shoots because they get revenue from us. They say the government here is very co-operative. If the government is so co-operative, don't they give 2 acres of land for MAA building?. Can't we build it together with our money? No one wants to talk about such issues. There is too much hypocrisy and sycophancy in the industry".
