Cricketers Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh are set to make their forays into South Indian film industry. They are going to act in Tamil movies soon. While Irfan Pathan plays a key role as a cop in Chiyaan Vikram's next, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Bhajji will seen in an important role in Santhanam starrer 'Dikkiloona'.
Interestingly, both the cricketers have a great connect with Tamil Nadu, having played for 'Chennai Super Kings' in IPL. Harbhajan often expresses his love for Tamil by tweeting in that language. As Vikram's movies release in Telugu simultaneously along with Tamil, we could see Irfan in a Telugu movie too.
This is not the first time cricketers are acting in films. Earlier a few cricketers have donned make-up and some of them were successful as actors too.
