The title of Varun Tej starrer Valmiki has been changed. The film will be releasing tomorrow. Now coming to the reason of this change. The Boya Valmiki community has been demanding change of title for a long time. Their request was ignored. They went to the court. The hearing was today. The producers did not want to drag this further and changed the title Gaddhalakonda Ganesh.
Director Harish Shankar said that this film has nothing to do with the Boya Valmiki community and is all about how a gangster turns into a good person.
Nevertheless the prints of the film has already been shipped and Censor formalities are also complete. How this will be rectified we do not know. Varun Tej is the leading man. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady.
