Vijay starrer 'Sarkar' is all set for a grand release on November 6. Varun Rajendra, a writer went to court saying that the story of the film Sarkar was his. Director Murugadoss had copied it. The director denied these charges and even got support from several celebrities initially.
But later Murugadoss and Sun Pictures decided to compromise with Varun and settle the issue outside the court. Not only was he given money, but will also be credit as the story writer.
Now all the hurdles for this film has been sorted out. In a way Murugadoss has silently agreed that the story of Sarkar was copied.
