Vijay's 'Adirindhi' First Look Got Tremendous Response

The first look of Vijay 61, which has been titled as 'Adirindhi' in Telugu, has got a thumping response from the audience and industry alike. Murali Ramasamy and Hema Rukmani of Thenandal Studios Ltd take pride in bringing this prestigious and much-awaited film to Telugu audiences. Rama Narayanan had directed Sravana sukravaaram, Naggama, Lakshmi Durga, Nagabaala, Bombbat car. 'Adirindhi' is the 100th film under the Thenandal banner, a mega budget film made in both Tamil and Telugu.

Talking about the film, Murali Ramasamy said, "Thenandal Studios Ltd will release the film in Telugu through Northstar Entertainment's Sharrath Marar, who is the strategical partner of the film. We are pleased that Sharrath Marar has joined hands with us to release the film in a big way and we are confident that this collaboration will be fruitful in every sense."

In past, Sharrath Marar had produced films like Katamarayudu and Sardar Gabbar Singh, and he has a vast experience in TV industry as well. "I am proud to be associated with Thenandal Studios Ltd to bring Vijay's 'Adirindhi' to Telugu audiences. Moreover, 'Adirindhi' is the 100th film to be produced by Thenandal films and I'm sure that it will be a landmark film for all the actors and other stakeholders," Sharrath Marar said.

This blockbuster is an ensemble of top stars and technicians. The film is written & directed by Atlee who has stuck the right chord with the box office in his first two movies with music being composed by Shri A R Rahman. Vijay and Atlee’s earlier combination created magic through Theri, which was dubbed in Telugu as 'Police'. The expectations this time from this dream pair are far higher.

With the blessing of Ramanarayanan, Thenandal Studios Limited's 100th production has a huge star cast led by Ilayathalapathy Vijay, along with S.J.Surya, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, Nithya Menen, Vadivel, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, and Sathyaraj.

The film has been extensively shot in several parts across India. Moreover, some of the important sequences of the film have been filmed in Europe. The film's audio will be launched in a grand way in August and the preparation for this event are already under progress. Vivek has written the lyrics. G.K.Vishnu is the cinematographer, Ruban is the editor and Anal Arasu has composed the action sequences.

The film's screenplay has been written by Vijayendra Prasad and Ramana Girivasan. After the stupendous success of Bhaahubali: The Beginning, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan and Baabubali: The Conclusion, Vijayendra Prasad is one of the most sought after writers in the country and he has written the story of 'Adirindhi'. Shobi has choreographed the dance.

Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction by Atlee and the film is slated for worldwide release in October.
