‘60 Eight’ selected for Cannes Film Festival

Now, all eyes are on Cannes Film festival which is going on prestigiously at Cannes city in France. The celebrations which were already started on May 11, will continue till May 22. Already our Indian stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat sparkled at Cannes. Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Sarabjit’ is screened at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. We all know that Tollywood’s ‘Baahubali’ screening will also take place at Cannes. Director SS Rajamouli and Shobu Yarlagadda will be leading a panel discussion on virtual reality technology. Another interesting thing is that a short-film made by our Telugu guy, Raja Pothineni, was selected for screening at the Cannes film festival. The 15-minute short-film titled ‘60 EIGHT’ is about John who has an accident at the age of eight. Raja is the cousin brother of energetic hero Ram. Raja has made this short film under his own direction.
