Sahiti Siromani to Kanchanapalli Rajendra Raju

Prominent cine and television writer Kanchanapalli Rajendra Raju received ‘Sahithi Siromani’ award for contributing his service to cine and television departments. Rajendra Raju, who is well known as Telugu Television Writers association chief secretary, has won acclaims from lyric lovers by penning poetic volumes such as ‘Mouna Gnapakam’, ‘Matti Sapam’, ‘Madhurima’ and ‘Manam Malli Kottaga’. He won several awards as best dialogue writer and best story writer in Television department by writing over 50 serials and nearly 5000 episodes such as ‘Lakshyam’, ‘Bharyamani’, ‘Garshana’, ‘Jalsa’, ‘Attalu Aadapaduchulu’, ‘Thodikodallu’ and ‘O Amma Katha’. He also won Golden Nandi award from state government.

Right from caption to the concept, story, screenplay and dialogues, his speciality is adding poetry to them which will reach the hearts of audience. Rajendra Raju has received best litterateur award from the state government in the past. Telangana language and cultural department and Bharath Cultural Academy, cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, cultural director Rasamayi Balakishan, State Government representative KV Ramana Chary, Telugu Television Writers Association and Bharath Cultural Academy founder and president and director and producer Nagabala Suresh Kumar have felicitated him with ‘Sahithi Siromani’ award recently at Ravindra Bharathi.
