It’s a known fact that Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ was stopped from theatrical release in whole of Tamil Nadu on January 25th due to the stay order given by the Madras High Court. It was announced that the justice Venkatraman will take a call on it on 28th January only after watching the film. In lines with this he watched the film along with Tamil Nadu government’s lawyer Navaneeta Krishnan, Kamal Haasan’s lawyer P S Raman, Chiefs of Muslim communities and few other top government officials. Now having watched the film the judge’s verdict is awaited on 28th in Madras High Court. The screening of ‘Vishwaroopam’ (Tamil version) was stopped soon after its release in Malaysia also as per the order given by the Malaysian Home Minister.
