Actress Anjali is missing from yesterday. She had come to Hyderabad to attend the shooting of Sravanti Ravikishore’s ‘Bol Bachchan’ remake movie but found missing due to which the shooting got stalled.
It’s reported that Anjali took the decision to flee from Chennai to escape from the harassment of her aunt (pinni), who has been all while making everyone believe that she is her mom. Anjali had come to Hyderabad to attend the shooting and stayed in a hotel along with her uncle (babai). Reports claim that she ran away from the hotel during the absence of her uncle in the hotel room. However, it’s unclear if she ran away or she was kidnapped. Her brother Ravi Shankar reported to the media about her missing.
In a statement, Anjali alleged that she is being harrassed by her aunt (mother’s sister, Pinni) Bharati Devi. It was believed that Bharati Devi, who accompanied her to shootings and functions was her mother. Anjali gave a shock to the industry and media by revealing the dark side of her life. The truth is that Bharati Devi, who was believed to be her mother is not her mother but her aunt with whom she was living in Chennai. Anjali stated that her aunt and director Mu Kalanjiyam have been using her as money-making machine and has cheated on her with the money she earned through films. She also reported that she no more wants to be under the custody of her aunt since she is a major now. So she has decided to free herself from the harassment. The actress who landed in Hyderabad to attend the shooting of Sravanti Ravikishore’s movie is missing since then. Her family members are now worried about her whereabouts as her mobile has been switched off. Anjali is the youngest among four siblings. She has two elder brothers and an elder sister. Her father expired during her childhood and her mother raised all four of them.
On the flipside, both Anjali aunt Bharati Devi rubbishes away saying that someone has brain-washed Anjali and that her brother RAvi Shankar is the big villain. Director Mu Kalanjiyam got wild at Anjali reports and said that he would lodge a complaint against Anjali for allegedly accusing him.
Anjali entered the film industry with a Telugu film titled ‘Photo’ in 2006 and made her Tamil debut with ‘Kattradu Tamizh’ in 2007 and won filmfare award for Best Female Debut. The young talent won two more filmfare awards for Best Actress for films ‘Angadi Theru’ (Shopping Mall in Telugu) in 2010 and ‘Engaeyum Eppothum’ (Journey in Telugu) in 2011. She won the audience’s heart and ample compliments from her costars Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu for her outstanding performance in the film ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. Anjali is currently doing ‘Balupu’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’ remake.
