Danush and
Shruti Haasan starrer ‘3’ is a Tamil film that has the world famous song ‘Kolavari Di’ in it. Aishwarya Danush directed this movie while Danush’s father Kasturi Raja is the producer. The Telugu version of ‘3’ is releasing on 30th March. On this occasion producer Kasturi Raja visited Hyderabad and organised for a press meet.
He said, “3 means suspense? Apart from Danush and Shruti there is another Shakti (Danush). What it is and what it did is the suspense that has to be watched on screen only. Oscar winner Rasool Pookutty did the DTS mixing work for which we have spent around Rs 1 crore. There are 8 songs in the film and all of them were big hits in Tamil. There is one song ‘Podi Po; (Pove Pove) which was a bigger hit than ‘Kolaveri Di’. Miracles like ‘Kolaveri…’ happen very rarely but for reasons unknown. However the lyrics written by Danush have become the biggest asset to this song. We are going to release the audio of Telugu version ‘3’ in the next week and we are going to release the film in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi on 30th.”
Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, camera is cranked by Velraj and the movie is made on RK Productions-Wonderbar Films banner.
