M S Raju’s directorial venture ‘Tuneega Tuneega’ introducing his son Sumanth Ashwin as hero and Ria Chitra as heroine is all set to hit screens on July 20th. The film is produced by Maganti Ramji under Padmini Arts banner and will be presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Music is composed by Ilayaraja’s elder son Karthik Raja. Dil Raju organised a press meet to announce the release date of this film.
Dil Raju said, “Tuneega Tuneega has completed all its formalities and ready for release. We are planning to release the film on 20th of this month. We will send the film to the censor board in another 2-3 days. Audience audience expectations will be generally high if the film is on Dil Raju banner. So this film is definitely as per their expectations. M S Raju garu is a producer who has passion for films. He also delivered many super hit films on his banner. But since he is directing this film and also launching his son as hero through this film, I joined him to support him in production part. The trailer that was released last week got very good response. Sumanth Ashwin performed with great ease and did not give the feel of a new artist. Since the story of the film belongs to love genre, we have aptly selected the title as ‘Tuneega Tuneega’. Raju garu filmed the story exactly the way he narrated it to me. The 20 minutes of climax has been taken differently and looks new. I’m confident that ‘Tuneega Tuneega’ will join the list of hit movies of this year. The audience will definitely feel good when they walk out of theaters after watching the film. We are releasing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.”
