Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ has kick-started a new trend which is very well taking Tollywood by storm. The film was released today (July 6th, 2012) across the world in Telugu and Tamil. When asked why he embarked on this project, Rajamouli told that after ‘Maryada Ramanna’ he was preparing himself to do a big film with Prabhas. However, there was a gap of 4-5 months to start that film as Prabhas could not adjust his dates. Meanwhile he started off this experimental film ‘Eega’ as a small budget movie which turned out to be a magnum opus today. Thanks to Rajamouli and team for making efforts to create this spectacular film. ‘Eega’ is receiving the universal praise from both critics and audiences.
