Samantha, who is currently undergoing the skin treatment for acne and has been advised to keep away from sunlight and other harsh lights for a minimum of 3 months says she is nervous as ‘Eega’ is releasing in another few hours. The actress tweeted, "Nervousness creeping in... Eega.. Hope u ll enjoy it..".
Recently the industry was abuzz with reports that Samantha opted out of Maniratnam’s ‘Kadal’and Shankar’s ‘I’ due to an offer from a Bollywood producer for the lead role in the remake of ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’ under Prabhu Deva’s direction. However, sources close to her clarified that it’s only due to the skin treatment that she is currently undergoing, she could not adjust the dates for the directors’ films.
Samantha's other films like ‘Evadu’ opposite Ram Charan, ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimale Chettu’ opposite Mahesh Babu and ‘Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu’ opposite Nani are half complete. The makers of these films are waiting for her to join the shooting so that they can complete the remaining part as soon as possible.
