Chilukur Balaji temple located in Chilkur in Hyderabad where the devotees get the real devine experience of devotion and peace. The concept of this temple is all devotees are equal in the eyes of Chilkur Balaji. Hence there are no special darshans, no hundis and no donations are entertained. The devotees make 11 pradhakshinas with a wish and after it gets fulfilled they make 108 pradakshinas in the temple as gratitude. For the first time director Allani Sridhar is coming up with the idea of making film on the history of Chilkur Balaji. Sai Kumar, S P Balasubrahmaniam and
Suman are playing the central roles. ETV and Film India Production Pvt Ltd., are jointly producing this film. The 1st shooting schedule has already got completed and the unit is planning for its next schedule from July 5th in Ramoji Film City.
Briefing the film’s details in a press meet on Tuesday director Allani Sridhar said, “For the first time we are going to show the miracles of Chilkur Balaji on silver screen. We have prepared the script based on the suggestions given by the pradhana archaka of the temple Soundararajan. The story revolves around a devotee named Madhavudu, how Lord Balaji appeared in Chilkur and what happened next will be shown on the screen. There are six songs in the film and one song has been shot in the first schedule. We are planning to release the film by the end of August.”
Arjun and Hansalekha are composing music, songs are written by Jonnavittula, Suddala Ashok Teja and Kaparthi Veerendra. Screenplay is designed by Ajay Shanti. Other prominent star cast is Sunil Sharma, Bhanu Sri Mehra, AVS, etc.
