Rajamouli’s ‘Eega/Naan Ee’ has successfully completed 50 days with the box-office collections of more than Rs 115 crores on August 24th. ‘Eega/Naan Ee’ opened to amazing houseful theaters worldwide on July 6th and ruled the box-office in India, USA and other parts of the world. Post release of ‘Eega/Naan Ee’, Rajamouli gained splendid recognition in Tamil Nadu too. Tamil version ‘Naan Ee’ has collected about Rs 25 crores and became one of the biggest hits of the year. He even received acclaims from Kollywood celebrities like Rajnikanth, Shankar and Ajith, besides getting praises from Tollywood stars like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Ram Gopal Varma, Puri Jagannath, Mahesh Babu and many others. After the completion of 50-day run in style, ‘Eega’ is heading towards wrapping up a 100-day run.
This Rajamouli's creation saw Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in lead roles with melodious music by M M Keeravani. Cinematography was done by K K Senthil Kumar. Sai Korrapati has produced it under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner and D Suresh Babu released it on Suresh Productions. 'Eega' is now being dubbed into Hindi as 'Makkhi'.
