Salman Khan has been of late delivering hit after hit with his recent releases. His latest ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ costarring Katrina, stunned Bollywood by breaking box-office collections with more than Rs 150 crores in 1st week and eventually reached the 2nd position on list of highest grosser films after ‘3 Idiots’. At this juncture, media reports claim that Ramesh Taurani offered Sallu Bhai a jaw dropping amount of Rs 100 crores to sign a film under his production. Taurani and Salman had already worked together earlier, hence he has reportedly offered this figure keeping in mind the box-office collection records of ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’, ‘Bodyguard’ and now ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (all of them have done business nearing to Rs 150 crores or more). If all goes well and Salman signs this deal, then he will named as Bollywood’s highest paid actors.
On the other hand, sources close to the producer denied the news on producer offering Rs 100 crores to Salman Khan. They stated that Salman had already signed a film for Ramesh Taurani which will be going on the sets in 2013. So let’s wait and watch.
