Actress Amy Jackson and actor Prateik Babbar who grew close to each other during the making of Gautham Menon’s ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ were in a relationship since then. But the news comes that the couple have called off their relationship. Buzz in the industry is that Amy took the initiative to end her relationship with Prateik because of his possessive nature even though he treated her as a special person in his life. However, sources close to Amy rubbished the rumors saying, “Amy and Prateik have not fallen apart. They are together indeed. The two are presently busy with their acting careers. Hence they are not able to meet up every day, but still they ensure that they chat with each other during breaks.”
Prateik Babbar is the son of late actress Smita Patil and actor-politicion Raj Babbar. He appeared in films like ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’, ‘Dhobi Ghaat’, ‘Dum Maro Dum’, ‘My Friend Pinto’ and ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’. On the other hand, Amy Jackson was a British beauty pageant titleholder and model who later turned actress. She made her acting debut with the Tamil film ‘Madrasapattinam’ and entered Bollywood with ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ starring alongside Prateik. Her next release in Tamil would be ‘Thaandavam’ opposite Vikram. Amy is currently shooting for Shankar’s ‘I’ again opposite Vikram and Vamsi Paidipally’s ‘Yevadu’ opposite Ram Charan.
