‘Gangaputrulu’ that won Silver Nandi award in the year 2010 has achieved yet another feat recently. This award winning film was selected for the Mumbai International Film Festival out of 26 Indian films. ‘Gangaputrulu’ is the only Telugu film that was selected. Director p Sunil Kumar Reddy dealt with the lives of fishermen. The movie was jointly produced by Kishore Basireddy and Yekkali Ravindra Babu.
According to producers, ‘Gangaputrulu’ won 3 Nandis – Second Best Film, Best Director and Best screenplay awards. They expressed their happiness for the film being selected for the Mumbai Festival that would be held from October 13th to 20th.
