Director Hari of Surya’s ‘Yamudu’ fame has now directed ‘Simha Putrudu’ starring Dhanush and Tamanna in the lead. ‘Simha Putrudu’ is the Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil super hit film ‘Vengai’ of Vijaya Productions banner. Nagaraju and Mopuri Sudhakar are jointly presenting the Telugu version under Sitarama Films and Rama Productions banners. The dubbing will begin on 12th September in AVM Studios in Chennai.
According to Telugu producers, ‘Simha Putrudu’ is a powerful action film under faction backdrop. Dhanush plays a powerful young man. The antagonist plays games for getting the power while the hero fights against him with his physical as well as mental strength. This movie would attract the crowds as much as Hari’s previous film ‘Yamudu’. Devisri Prasad’s music is sure to capture the hearts of masses. The audio will hit stands by this month end while the film will be released in October.
Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran and Ganja Karuppu are playing other important roles in the film. Dialogues are penned by Sashank Vennelakanti, lyrics by Chandra Bose, Vennelakanti and Sahiti, editing by V T Vijayan and story, screenplay and direction by Hari. Veerabomma Raghavender is the co-producer of this film while Ramana is the executive producer and Sravani Sainath is the presenter.
