Col (Retd) Narne Ranga Rao of Narne Estate Private Limited, had once gone to meet Late Sri. NT Rama Rao, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, regarding certain amendments to the land rules. Late Mr. NT Rama Rao, advised Col Ranga Rao to approach him through an Association/Organization. He explained that it would be almost impossible for the Secretariat to deal with individual builders and developers. Thus were sown the seeds of “Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developer’s Association” (APREDA). The association was formed and registered with the Office of Registrar of Societies, Hyderabad on 7th April 1995 (Certificate No 224/95). A set of strict Bye-laws were made and regular meetings were held.
