Rey Press Meet

‘Rey’ starring Sai Dharam Tej, Sayami Kher, Arpith Ranka and Shraddha Das in the lead, is gearing up for release on March 27. The third trailer of this YVS Chowdary’s movie was released on March 6. Chakri rendered the music.

On the eve of film’s release, Yalamanchili Yukta said, “My father has made this film amidst many obstacles. He has crossed all those contraventions with self-confidence. I played hero’s sister role in the film.”

Director YVS Chowdary said, “I turned director with great passion on films. NTR garu is my main inspiration for me to enter films. I learnt a lot from Late NTR garu like hard work, dedication and how to not get hurt. His blessings will be always be with me. His blessing taught me self-confidence. ‘Rey’ is a wonderful experience for me. Due to some obstacles the release of the film got delayed. No one is responsible for that. I never expected that I will work on a film for four years. Sai Dharam Tej’s appearance impressed me. Pawan Kalyan Creative Works had already planned to introduce Sai Dharam Tej as hero some time ago. But recently when I approached Pawan regarding making a film with Sai Dharam Tej, he suggested me to meet Chiranjeevi garu. Later when I narrated the story to Chiranjeevi garu and expressed my desire to introduce Dharam Tej, he instantly agreed for it. I’ve made films with new artists in the past. I did my first film with Venkat and Chandini. After that, ‘Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo’ with Aditya Om and Ankitha. I did ‘Seetayya’ with Harikrishna when he was 48 years old and after that ‘Devadas’ and now ‘Rey’. We will start publicity from today with the point ‘Your time will not be wasted and you will get 100% satisfaction’. Our film has completed the censor process in the last week. We are planning to release the film on 27th of March. ‘Rey’ will become curtain raiser for this summer. I’m thankful to Ramesh Prasad, Viyaj Prasad and Sobhanbabu for their support. The name of the hero in this film is Rocket alias Rocky. Sai gave wonderful performance as an experienced actor. I will do one more film with him in future. My daughter Yuktha did sister role in the film.”

Hero Sai Dharam Tej said, “March 27 is a good sign for me. My first photo shoot was happened on March 27, 2010 and ‘Rey’ film opening was on March 27, 2012. I’m very excited that ‘Rey’ is going to be releasing on March 27, 2015. Director YVS Chowdary is working on ‘Rey’ since 2 years. I’ll definitely do one more film with him in future.”
