The Indian Telugu film writer, director , producer, distributor, exhibitor and owner of a music company is Yalamanchili Venkata Satyanarayana Chowdary. The movie Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Raarandi produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under "Great India Entertainments" made his first appearance as a director in 1998.

YVS Chowdary Popularly Yalamanchili Venkata Satyanarayana Chowdary comes from Gudivada, Krishna district. He was born on 23 May 1965 into a middle class family. His father was a driver of a lorry and his mother was a house wife. He's got an elder brother and sister. In Chennai, he finished his engineering. YVS Chowdary has married Geeta . There have two daughters in the family, Yukta and Ekta.
Career:
YVS Chowdary has been an avid NTR fan since his childhood. In his hometown he was also an involved member of the NTR fans association. During his work as an engineer, he got in contact with several industry people and worked for several dubbing movies with an editor Narasimha Rao.
He worked for films such as Kaliyuga Pandavulu, Sahasa Samrat, Agni Putrudu, Donga Ramudu, Janaki Ramudu, Rudra Netra and Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari, as well as for the department of direction of Aggi Pidugu. Later he joined Vyjayanthi Movies of Aswini Dutt, and later also worked for Ram Gopal Varma.
During his work in Ninne Pelladutha with Nagarjuna, he was given his first chance as Seetha Ramula Kalyanam Choothamu Ra Randi with Akkineni Venkat. The film was a great achievement. Seeta Rama Raju with Nagarjuna and Hari Krishna was his second film. The film could not win the hearts of the audience for different reasons. The third film of YVS was Yuvaraju with Mahesh Babu, which was the same as his second.
After Yuvaraju and he has not received any proposals for a long time. It was then that Hari Krishna came to her rescue and Lahiri Lahiri Lahirli, a family story, was all perfect. YVS himself created the film on his Bommarillu banner. The movie was a huge success.
Next with Hari Krishna, Seethaiah he made a solo film, and the result was another blockbuster. Finally the midas touch of YVS Chowdary continued with his third film, Devadasu as well. With this film, he introduced actor Ram to industry.
With three super hits back to back, everyone thought YVS Chowdary won't look back. It was then his next with Okka Magadu of Balakrishna revealed. Later on he attempted Saleem with Manchu Vishnu. And his next film Sai Dharam Tej’s film, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham.
YVS Chowdary has been producer of all his films, except Saleem, since Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo. Nippu was his first film with an outsider director in his output. Ravi Teja and YVS Chowdary were roommates in the industry during their struggle. They stayed in the ground stair while Guna Sekhar stayed in the top floor.
The daughters of YVS, Yuktha and Ekta present all the films made on his banner of Bommarillu. He founded a music company named after his elder daughter, Yuktha Musics.
