After producing notable Mollywood films like Quotation (2004), Red Salute (2006), and D Company: The Judgement Day (2013), producer-director Vinod Vijayan has made Oka Pathakam Prakaram, the Telugu film starring Sairam Shankar (Puri Jagannadh's younger brother) in the lead. Oka Pathakam Prakaram is heading to theatres on February 7. Sri Lakshmi Films is distributing the movie.
Starring Ashima Narwal as the heroine, the film also features Shruti Sodhi, Samuthrakhani, Kalabhavan Mani, Ravi Pachamuthu, Bhanu Sri, and Pallavi Gowda. With the cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, Vinodillampally, and Suresh Rajan, the film has music by Rahul Raj. Gopi Sundar has taken care of background music.

I have introduced major talents such as Fahadh Faasil and music director Gopi Sundar in Malayalam. Currently, I have also commissioned projects involving Mammootty sir and Fahadh. Some of my films have won National Awards in Malayalam.
I have known Sairam Shankar for many years. We are good friends. As a child, I used to watch NTR's movies under the influence of my Telugu neighbours. My inkling of Telugu films took root at that time. I have familiarity with the language.
Oka Pathakam Prakaram is a concept-based thriller. I am sure that, this Friday, the viewer is going to experience something new. Right from the word go, this is going to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. We have challenged the audience to identify the antagonist after the interval and before the second half begins. We are that confident about what is in store. The winners will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000. We will zero in on 50 winners.
Sairam Shankar has been presented in a new way. And it's a multi-shaded character as well. You will see him in a style and variety you haven't known him for. His performance is also subtle. The screenplay is what sets Oka Pathakam Prakaram from other thrillers. There is no hero as such in the film. As far as I am concerned, the audience member is the hero.
