Dehradun dame Lavanya Tripathi, who stolen the hearts of Telugu audience and won critical acclaims for her performance with her debut film ‘Andala Rakshasi’, is giving hit after hit. Last year we have seen her gentle performance in ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ opposite Nani and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ opposite Nagarjuna. The beautiful actress’s latest film ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ opposite Allu Sirish has hit screens last week and her performance was lauded by critics. In an interview, the actress shares about her.

Do you remember your first crush?
I don’t remember who my first crush was.

What kind of a child were you?
My childhood was fun and I was a quite girl.

How did your family react on your decision to start our career in the film industry?
My parents were cool with my decision. They asked me to go ahead without effecting my studies.

Tell us about your family background?
My father is a lawyer practicing in high court and my mother is a teacher.

Do you enjoy staying alone?
At times I love being alone. It is good to be spending some time with yourself.

Do you have any good friends?
I have few friends, but they are best ones.

Which city you like-Bombay or Hyderabad?
Well, both the cities are great, but I like Hyderabad more.

What are your hobbies or interests?
My hobbies are cooking, watching movies and workout.

Which culture and food you like most?
I like Indian culture and Indian food.

How did you feel and what was your reaction when you shortened your hair?
To me, no reaction, but my mom was very angry.

What’s the most beautiful gift someone else has given for you?
Bangles from Goa Lol. I still have them, sentiments.

What turns you off?
Someone who lies to me, rude people and negativity.

What was the funniest rumour about yourself?
Rumours are always funny. Someone actually uses all their creativity in creating a rumour.

A song that sums up your mantra/ you in life?
‘Soachna Kya Jo Bhi Hoga Dekha Jaaega’ from the film ‘Ghayal’.
