Advocate threatens to file defamation suit against OG makers

Recently, a Hyderabad-based Advocate named Barla Mallesh Yadav challenged the Government Order (Telangana) allowing hiked ticket rates for OG as "arbitrary, illegal". Things were sorted out after the GO was reissued through proper channels.

On Sunday, speaking to the media, the Advocate took on the production house behind Pawan Kalyan's movie afresh. He declared that he would be filing a defamation case against DVV Entertainment. He will also be sending contempt of court notices to the production house behind OG over a tweet made by the banner. "Despite the High Court looking into the matter, DVV Entertainment had already posted on their official X account, mocking me by stating they would give me a ticket for a discount of Rs 100 anywhere in the Nizam area. It is illegal for the production house to mock me and instigate trolls against me. I had filed the petition on Constitutional grounds. I will be filing criminal complaints against the production house," Yadav said.

Here is the controversial tweet made by DVV Entertainment:

"Telangana HC extends interim order suspending the OG ticket price hike memo, applicable only to petitioner Barla Mallesh Yadav. So we are offering him a Rs 100 discount on his ticket at any Nizam theatre! Mallesh garu, hope you also enjoy the film like our fans did," the banner wrote on the evening of September 26.
