Speaking at the first post-release press meet of OG, producer DVV Danayya thanked Trivikram Srinivas for being the force behind the materialization of the project. Danayya had Pawan Kalyan's dates, but he didn't know which director he should approach. Trivikram suggested Sujeeth's name. The RRR producer stated that, for 2.5 years, Sujeeth worked tirelessly. He described Thaman, Navin Nooli (Editor) and Ravi K Chandran (DoP) as the three pillars of OG. "Kalyan garu is incredibly stylish in the movie," Danayya added, also praising Thaman's electrifying techno RR. On the occasion, he revealed that it was producer S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments that helped out by handing over the title OG to him. The title was originally registered by Sithara.
S Naga Vamsi said, "I am here to congratulate Kalyan Dasari on his first success. Also, Thaman and Navin Nooli have worked on my movies previously. So, I am here for them too."
Director Sujeeth said, "I am a big fan of Kalyan garu since Johnny. It has been a privilege working with him. Thaman anna, Navin Nooli garu and Ravi K Chandran sir are the three pillars of OG for me. They have worked with him from the beginning. Their support behind the screens was immense."
Music director Thaman said that OG has been embraced by the audience, thanks to Pawan Kalyan's superstardom. "It was my dream to watch Kalyan sir in a role like this. I wanted to see him wielding the sword. I was clear that OG should be historic. I really thank Trivikram garu for making this project possible at a critical juncture. This is my fourth movie in Kalyan garu's filmography. The kind of high we had last year when he won elections, we are experiencing it all over again. Despite limited promotions, OG has taken phenomenal openings. This is a rarity," he added.
