Pilla from Dhandoraa: A Charming Romantic Symphony that Feels Rooted

Mark K. Robin's composition, Pilla from Dhandoraa, is a delightful love melody that perfectly captures the essence of blossoming village romance. The recurring, resonant sound of the Dhandoraa instrument serves as an evocative metaphor, charting the growing affection between the lead pair, Ravi Krishna and Manika. Sung beautifully by Aditi Bhavaraju and Anurag Kulkarni, with heartwarming lyrics by Purna Chari, the song’s rustic charm is undeniable. The scenic village backdrop is visually stunning, and the movement design by JD Master is refreshingly organic, enhancing the natural chemistry of the protagonists. A truly heartwarming track.

Dhandoraa is about life, death and the chaos in between. The village-based comedy-drama is seemingly a philosophical take on life and the inevitability of one's roots. Its Teaser was released recently.

Debutant director Murali Kanth said that each of the performers put in their best effort. Producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni said that the film will be as effective as the teaser.

Dhandoraa is scheduled to hit the cinemas on December 25th.
