Socio-fantasy can be turned into an introspective genre if wedded to mythological or supernatural plot. Vaanara, an upcoming Telugu movie starring newcomer Avinash Thiruvidhula in the lead, might well be one such movie. Starring Simran Choudhary as the heroine, the film's First Look is out.

Since the Lord Hanuman divinity seems to be a major feature, we can expect interesting action set pieces. Vishwajith, who has penned the story and screenplay, must have done his research.
