Nagarjuna on Monday revealed that a family member became a victim of "digital arrest" six months ago. "A family member was arrested digitally by some miscreants for almost two days," Nag said in the presence of Hyderabad top co VC Sajjanar, whose team has cracked down on film piracy.
On the occasion, the Kuberaa actor stated that pirates' hidden agenda is much bigger and sinister. Minting money from putting out pirated copies online is just a bait. "iBomma admin has made Rs 20 Cr. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Behind him, there is a whole network that has exposed the personal data of 50 lakh subscribers. Showing you movies for free is just a trap. Their motive is something else," Nag said, cautioning those who download pirated copies to be watchful.
