In a strange occurrence on Tuesday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid condolences to veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra via X. In his social media post, the BJP leader extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Dharmendra. Since a Union Minister, no less, wrote a condolence message, the national media took it as a confirmation.
A few minutes later, Dharmendra's family denied the news. Actress Esha Deol, who is Dharmendra's daughter, blamed the media for getting into an overdrive. She added that her father was stable and recovering. "We request everyone to give our family privacy," Esha added. Rajnath Singh has since deleted his X post.
