Speaking at an event to celebrate the success of K-Ramp, on Monday, Bandla Ganesh confidently remarked that Chiranjeevi is going to be conferred with the Bharat Ratna soon. The impeccable certainty with which he uttered the line was damn sexy. It's as if he believes the highest civilian honour is some state film award or just another national award that can be had by impressing juries from the Kannamba era.
Ganesh and flattery go hand in hand. Ever since the universe conspired to let him make Gabbar Singh, he has believed that sycophancy is a virtue. He once said that Pawan Kalyan is mentioned in the Hanuman Chalisa. His logic? The Chalisa makes use of the word 'pawana'.
Ganesh, on Monday, was sycophantic toward not just Chiranjeevi but also Kiran Abbavaram. "Seeing him, I am reminded of the humbleness of Chiranjeevi himself," Ganesh thundered. Probably, he believes that Kiran will offer him a concession if and when they collaborate on a movie in the future. Ideally, Kiran should add a GST (Ganesh Sycophancy Tax) and extract extra money from him.
