After Hari Hara Veera Mallu picked June 12 as its new release date, it has been speculated that Dhanush's Kuberaa will be pushed from June 20. The rumours reached the makers of the Sekhar Kammula directorial.
The makers have clarified that Kuberaa will not be postponed. In other words, the awaited Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual release will very much head to theatres on June 20 without fail.
So, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Kuberaa will be released in theaters just eight days apart. Kuberaa, from which just one song has been released so far, also features Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. The Kammula directorial has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Meanwhile, Kuberaa actor Dhanush has agreed to essay APJ Abdul Kalam in Kalam: The Missile Man of India, to be directed by Adipurush maker Om Raut. Nagarjuna is also doing Coolie, starring Rajinikanth in the lead. Rashmika is fronting an unusual love story titled The Girlfriend.
