Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has reportedly filed a lawsuit demanding damages to the tune of Rs 25 Cr from senior artist Paresh Rawal. This comes days after Rawal opted out of Hera Pheri 3, a film Akshay is co-producing.
The speculation is that Akshay's production house believes it will suffer losses if Rawal doesn't do the film. Many are shocked that the two colleagues couldn't amicably resolve the issue.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024), Sarfira (2024), Khel Khel Mein (2024), Mission Raniganj (2023), OMG 2 (2023) and Selfiee (2023) are among Akshay's recent movies. Barring Sarfira and Mission Raniganj, the rest of them were made as semi-comedies. Singham Again, Sooryavanshi and Sky Force also include his recent works. Welcome to the Jungle (2024), the third installment in the Welcome series, is among his upcoming movies. Paresh Rawal has acted in movies such as Shehzada, Sarfira and Dream Girl 2.
